PERSONALITY STRUCTURE
Dear Prospective Participants:
You are invited to take part in a research study conducted by Thu Hoang and Hieu Nguyen from Hanoi University. The purpose of the study is to explore the personality structure using a Vietnamese sample. You were selected as a possible participant in this study because you are enrolled in an undergraduate course.
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to complete a survey which should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. If you experience some tiredness associated with completing the surveys, you may pause and complete it in a different sitting. Also, participation is completely voluntary and you can stop at any time without any consequences. However, if you do decide to participate, answering ALL the questions TRUTHFULLY is very important to the quality and integrity of the research.
Your participation in the study is very important as it helps to increase knowledge about personality and its structure, especially in Vietnamese samples. For those who participate in the study, the Foundation Studies Department have agreed to increase the allowed absence limit from 20% to 25% (i.e., you are still eligible for sitting in the final exam if you are absent from up to 20 classes.)
Your participation is voluntary and confidential. Any information that is obtained in connection with this study and that can be linked to you or identify you will be kept confidential. In addition, the data will be stored in a password-protected computer and the results of this research will only be reported in aggregate form (everyone’s information will be pooled together and summarized). All information you provide will only be used for research purposes.
